How can I be a successful math student?

1.  Write all notes
2.  Ask questions
3.  Always do your homework
4.  Practice the skills daily
5.  Go to bed early and always eat breakfast so you can concentrate in class
6.  When you get a quiz or test back, always correct your mistakes

How can I study for a test?

1.  Review all class notes, homework assignments, and quizzes.
1.  Make up a practice test for yourself
2.  Get a study buddy
3.  Use index cards

What should I do when I am taking a quiz or test?

1.  Relax
2.  Read directions carefully and follow directions
3.  Show all work neatly
4.  Skip hard questions and return to them after.

What is the homework policy?

No late homework is accepted.  If the student is absent, she is required to 
make up the homework.

If I have a question or need additional help, when can I see the teacher?

I am available for additional help in the mornings from 7:30 in Room 306.  If 
the student needs to see me after school, she must make arrangements with 
me.

What do I do if I am absent ?

The student is responsible for getting the missed notes from one of her 
peers. I will give the absentee student the worksheets that she misses.  If 
she is absent on a test or quiz day, she must see me 7:30 in the morning to 
arrange a time and place for the make-up.

How is my grade computed?

Tests are worth 70% of the grade
Quizzes are worth 20% of the grade
Class participation and Homework is worth 10% of the grade
