Miss Eremita has been teaching at St. Catharine Academy since 2000. She
attended St. John's University as an undergraduate, majoring in English. She
has an M.A. in English from the University of Connecticut and an M.S. in
Education from St. John's University. Miss Eremita completed nine credits as
a Ph.D. student in English at Fordham University before leaving the program
to pursue a full-time teaching job.
Miss Eremita has two brothers, four nieces, and two nephews. She enjoys
the theater and takes care of numerous pets. Her favorite writers include
F. Scott Fitzgerald, Shakespeare, Willa Cather, the Brontes, and many, many
more!
