• Students who are entering 6th grade on or after September 1, 2007
and who are 11 years of age or older must receive an immunization
containing tetanus toxoids, diphtheria, and a cellular pertussis
(Tdap).
MEDICATIONS
Please be reminded that students are not permitted to carry
medication on them while in school unless they have written doctor
and parental permission on file. As per the NYS Education
Department, the school nurse is not permitted to administer any
medication (including Tylenol) unless written doctor and parent
permission is on file and proper procedure has been followed.
Also, cough drops are not administered to students by the
Health Office.
