Now that the cooler weather is here and the winter months are approaching,
it’s time to prepare for snow and school closings. We’d just like to help
and guide you on how to become informed if Religious Eduction classes will
not be in session due to inclement weather:
1. You can go online to the Cablevision’s Newschannel 12 website
www.News12.com) and click on “Closings.” You can also tune into Cablevision
Newschannel 12 for a listing of School Closings.
2. You can tune into WCBS Radio 880AM. They also post closings on their
website (www.wcbs880.com).
3. If the Oyster Bay School District is closed, and/or St. Dominic School,
the Religious Education Program will be closed.
4. You can also log onto www.stdoms.org and click on the Religious Education
link to see if there are classes.
Please note that no phone calls will be made to inform you that Religious
Education classes will not be in session.
