Principal's Welcome
Welcome to the Saint Martin de Porres School.
Saint Martin de Porres School is a pre-kindergarten through grade 8 Catholic
elementary school that is sponsored by Saint Martin de Porres Parish, and has
been teaching Catholic values since 1964. Saint Martin de Porre School
follows the curriculum approved by the Archdiocese of New York, and the
guidelines of the Archdiocese in teaching religion. The spiritual growth of
each student is enhanced by regular celebration of the Eucharist, catholic
devotions and daily prayer.
Here at Saint Martin de Porre School our technology is comparable to none! We
house a state of the art computer room,computers in the classrooms and Smart
Boards in all classrooms. Our systems technology is infused into the daily
classroom lessons, as well as including several digital libraries. One of
the "gems" of our school community is our buddy system. The older students
pair up with the younger students. Great fun and mutual respect ensue.
