The St. Mary’s Pre-K classroom is a place where children look forward to each new day, because of new experiences within it. The classroom is a place where children are comfortable and happy, because they are learning things in which they are interested in, and are doing things that they can accomplish.
The classroom is designed so that it presents an inviting environment for four and five year-old children. The room has been planned so that each child may spend part of his or her time in both group and individual activities.
Block Area: Gives children the ability to develop gross motor skills and promotes creative imagination.

Manipulative Area: Toys such as Legos, puzzles, stringing beads, etc. are provided to help children develop their fine motor skills and to help them develop problem-solving skills.
