More than a Map Maker

We are now going to focus on maps! As we talked
about in class, the United States was a new nation and we didn't have as
many states as we do today. Traveling was far more complicated then hopping
in a car or on a plane. So where did all the Civil War battles take place?
In this section we will find out!

Your assignment is to take the following battles sites and write several
sentences on them. You are to answer the following questions:

* Where did the battle take place?
*	 Who won the battle?
* When did the battle take place?
*	 Who were major leaders?
* What was the major significance of the battle?

EX: The battle of _________ took place on _______ at ________. The
(North/South) won the battle. The major leaders included ______, ______ and
________. The major significance of the battle was _______.
As you can see, it doesn't have to be highly detailed, but I expect it be
well done and complete. I know this section is rather simple, but I ask that
you complete it as thoroughly as possible! If you have any questions, feel
free to ask!
