Mrs. Linton has a teaching and Master's Degree. She studied library and
information science at Albany State University. As a professional librarian,
she helps students find resources for their information needs. Students learn
how to find facts in books, websites and databases. They also learn how to
improve reading skills from books and e-books. Most importantly, students
learn that reading is fun!
The mission of the Truman Moon Library Media Center is to support our
learning community by providing resources in various formats that foster a
love of reading, encourage information seeking, further community and
cultural understanding, support teacher, building and district goals, while
incorporating education standards, information literacy standards and
literacy skills into the library program.
