Science In The NewsEvery Tuesday is "Science in The News Night" where you will read the Science Times, choose an article that interests you and write a critique of that article. "Science in the News" develops science literacy skills whereby you have the ability to read and judge a piece of scientific writing for accuracy and authenticity. By all means have FUN with this weekly assignment - choose articles in topic areas that engage you, interest you, peak your curiosity!
The format is the same each week: Title of Article Author(s) Publication 5 Vocabulary Words - defined Summary Opinion
You should refer to the sample "Science in The News" article we read and critiqued in class.
Remember to attach a copy of the article to your critique and feel free to add a cover!
