Rules & Procedures

RULES

1. Come to class prepared with all science materials including notebook, pen, colored pencils, highlighters, and homework assignment. White Out is not allowed to be used in class.

2. Enter classroom quickly and quietly, take your seat immediately, copy your homework assignment, complete Do Now!, and have last night's homework out and ready to be collected.

3. Raise your hand to be recognized in class. Absolutely no calling out!

4. Ask permission to leave your seat.

5. Respect yourself and others at all times. ABUSIVE   LANGUAGE   WILL   NOT   BE   TOLERATED!!

6. Absolutley no eating, gum chewing, or drinking in class.

7. Remember the teacher dismisses you and not the bell.

PROCEDURES

1. Your science binder must have a Class Work Section and a Homework Section. All class work and homework must be completed in blue or black ink. Illustrations and diagrams must be completed in color.

2. All class notes, laboratory write ups, and homework assignments must be kept in your science binder, up to date, neat, have a completed daily heading and in chronological date order. ALL BOARD NOTES MUST BE PLACED IN YOUR CLASS WORK  SECTION.

3. Homework will be assigned Monday through Friday, collected each day and returned the following day. Checked homework must be kept in the homework section of your science binder. Know the district homework policy.

4. You are responsible for all class notes and homeworks assignments missed due to absence. Make sure you have a homework buddy in this class. A complete listing of all homework assignments is kept in the blue marble notebook at my lab desk for your reference.

5. Your grade will be based on your notebook presentation (15%);class participatipon (10%); lab assignments (15%); homework assignments (25%); and tests and projects (35%.)
