The Writing 7 class will focus on the continued development of writing and reading skills. We will study a wide range of writing techiniquesas well as reinforce our reading skills.

Supplies:

Binder, loose leaf paper, highlighters, pens

Requirements:

1. Binder, pens, highlighters will stay in class throughout the quarter.

2. All class notes, assignments, and writing assignments must be kept in your binder, be up to date, neat , and have a proper daily heading.

3. You are responsible for all class notes, assignments, and work misssed due to absence. Make sure you have a class buddy to let you know the work you missed in this class.

Grading policy:

Quarterly grade is based on

Reading assignments 40%

Writing assignments 40%

Class Assignments 10%

Preparedness/Participation 10%
