Parents and Students,
This being a 10 week quarter class, it is very important to finish any
classwork for homework. There will be a few actual homework assignments from
time to time during the quarter for this class. Many times students
can "bring in" the information needed from home and complete the assignment
during class time.
If you are absent from class for ANY reason at all, it is still YOUR
RESPONSIBIITY to make up ANY work you have missed immediately. Please check
the "Block Plan" in the classroom and/or the "Quarterly Calendar" on this
website for any missed work.
It is important for you to be caught up quickly because we go over the
workbook pages assigned during class the next day. It becomes hard to
contribute in cass if your work is not completed on time.
DUE DATES TO REMEMBER:
Nov. 16: Bring home course outline pages, get page 2 filled out
and signed by your parents, return to teacher tomorrow
Nov. 23: Finish pages 17 -21 on Measuring if you did not finish it
during class
Nov. 24: Evaluate a Recipe Worksheet
Dec.17: Cultural Foods Travel Brochure DUE
Dec. 21: Who is Deciding Which Foods I Buy Worksheet
Dec. 23: Advertising Worksheet
Jan. 4: Label Scavenger Hunt Worksheet
Jan. 15: WORKBOOKS due for grading
