It's hard to believe the holidays have come and gone so quickly! I was very
pleased with how well the 7th grade band performed on our December 8
concert! A great job was done by all, and I am very proud of all they
accomplished!
Our next concert will be March 8, to celebrate "Music In Our Schools
Month".
Students should preparing for their band music test, which will take place
sometime during the first week of February. This will be a playing test on
any or all of their new band music. Students will take their test during
lessons, and will perform parts of their band music by themselves for a test
grade. I will pick the parts they are to play. Students are aware of this
upcoming test, and they are receiving reminders each band day to practice.
All students enrolled in 7th grade band are capable of playing this music,
but some of it is challenging, so dilligent, daily practice is required! If
