You are cordially invited to attend closing exercises at the Central High School Keller Auditorium, which will be held onThursday evening, June 21stat 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Six tickets will be given to each 6thgrader on Thursday, June 23rd. Sixth graders do not need tickets. We will try to accommodate those who need an additional ticket. For this reason, we are asking parents to return any unneeded tickets to the office. Requests for an additional ticket should be made in writing and submitted to the office. Please remember to indicate "Mrs. Cassano" in the letter. Since it will probably be quite warm on the stage, we suggest that the boys and girls dress comfortably. Girls usually wear dresses. Slacks or long dresses are not recommended. Boys usually wear slacks and a sports jacket, but a shirt and tie are also worn by many boys without a jacket.

Friday, June 15th– 6thGrade Party after school – yearbooks distributed –wear 6thgrade T-Shirts.
Tuesday, June 19th - Bring yearbook to school for teacher's to sign.
Wednesday, June 20th at 9:15 am- Awards Ceremony for Grades 4, 5, and 6. Parents are encouraged to come.
Thursday, June 20th - half day dismissal for all students/Graduation at 7 pm (Central H.S.)
Friday, June 22nd - Report cards distributed. Students are dismissed at 10:10 am.
Here is what is going on in the classroom:
Reading - Students are currently reading Science Fiction.
Writing - Students have started to use mentor texts to create their Wheeler Memories.
Math - Students are learning how to use integers for Algebra and Graphing in all 4 Quadrants..
Science - Our unit on Matter has begun. Students have been conducting labs and learning all about elements, compounds, and molecules.
Social Studies - Tests are being sent home in Friday Folders. We will continue to study Revolutions in Science, Technology, Government...
