What is my role in Kindergarten?

In kindergarten I re-focus students whose attention wanders.  I 
help with organizational skills and work in small group 
activities in the classroom.  At times I might take a small 
group of students or one student and re-teach a classroom lesson 
in a quiet setting.

What is my role in the first grade classroom?

In first grade I take students out of the classroom and into a 
quieter setting. I reinforce or re-teach a classroom lesson that 
the student is unsure of.  I can do so either one to one or in a 
small group.

What is the purpose of AIS?

AIS helps students adjust to school for a more positive learning 
experience.  Either in Language Arts or Math.
