What is a song-writing residency?

A residency provides many opportunities for students to work with 
the singer/song-writer, Susan Trump.  Each third grade class 
meets with Susan 5 times dyring the week.  Each class will create 
lyrics for a song.

Who pays for the residency?

The Vassar Road PTA generously funds the five-day 
residency.  Additional funds are received from the BOCES Arts-in-
Education program.
