This is the first of four High Frequency Word assessments that will be administered this year. These assessments correlate with our comprehensive literacy program. Your child will use these words to enhance his/her reading and writing skills. Each assessment will be administered in the beginning of each quarter. You will recieve the results of the assessments, along with a highlighted list of words your child needs to master. Your child will then be re-assessed at the end of each quarter. At that time, a comparison of his/her progress will be reviewed.
Please put aside the appropriate amount of time throughout the quarter to assist your child in committing these words to memory.
