Welcome back to school! We're so excited to see our old friends and are
really looking forwarding to meeting new ones. We are getting only a little
handful of returning students this year so we are anticipating a whole lot of
changes in Room 2. But, we are very happy about all of the changes and think
we're in for a really terrific school year.
I usually ask all of the parents to send in a notebook in order to make
communication easy. This year I'd like to GO GREEN and try to do more over
the Internet! At the beginning of the year I wll request your personal email
addresses so we can stay in touch a little bit more easily. It takes me
FOREVER to write but I can type very quickly so it'll be much easier for me
to get notes out to you during the week. More on that later...
Please make sure you send your child in with diapers/pull-ups if he is not
trained and 2 extra sets of clothing in case of accidents. PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING! With so many little people in one space it's so
hard for us to keep everything straight! We do a snack every afternoon so we
put out requests for snacks/juice for the whole class unless you prefer to
send individual snacks in each day for your child. As for the rest of the
supplies, I'll be sending home a list in the beginning of the year.
Well we'll be seeing you really soon and cannot wait for another terrific
school year at Vassar Road!
