Karen Lynch, a Special Education Advocate from Taconic Resources for
Independence, Inc., will explain the Committee on Special Education (CSE)
Process: eligibility criteria, and what do parents do if they disagree with
the Committee on Special Education’s decision. Know your rights, your school
districts responsibilities, and area resources. Copies of Part 200 and 201
Regulations of the Commissioner of Education will be provided and highlighted
during this informative session.
