Happy New Year! We have a busy January but first I want to thank our room
mothers for the fun filled holiday party! The book swap, holiday cards and
the Penquin thermometers were all great fun. Mrs. Light and Mrs. Kacmarczyk
work hard to put together all our class parties and do a great job! Thank you!
Bookreports begin this month. The first bookreport will be do on January
29st. Please remember part of the grade is handing the report in on time. We
will have a different genre each month for the bookreports.
The winter seasonal person will be sent home the week of Jan.11th and due
Jan.19th.
I am very excited to announce Miss Keefer from Marist will be joining our
class on Tues. Jan. 19th. Miss Keefer will be beginning her first student
teaching assignment with us. I have meet with her and believe she will be a
great asset to our class.
Just a reminder homework is given each night and is due the following day.
Projects are given due dates and should be brought in before or on the day
due.
We will continue working on the mad minutes-30 addition problems to be
completed in approximately 90 seconds, for the entire year. It is important
that every child have quick recall of their math facts to 12.
