First Grade 2009-2010 Welcome to first grade! I am thrilled to have you in my class this year! I cannot wait until September to meet you. As we prepare our classrooms, the excitement begins to build for the new school year. We have so much to learn. I hope this will be a special year for you. A year filled with fun and creative learning experiences. Below is your first grade supply list. Please label all supplies including book bags and lunch boxes with your child's name. First grade students should know how to tie their shoes and zip up their coats. Please replenish these supplies throughout the year as needed. Enjoy your summer! ~Mr. Nikola • 40 # 2 Pencils Dixon Ticonderoga brand (Please Sharpen) (No mechanical pencils) (Shared) • 2 pink erasers • 6 large glue sticks (Shared) • 1 box of Fat washable markers • Supply Box • Fiskars Scissors • 1 box of Crayons (24 count max) • 1 pack of highlighters • 1 set of dry erase markers (preferably Expo) • 1 box of Gallon Zip Lock Bags • 3 pocket folders (Please write your child’s name on the outside of all three folders) • 3 1st grade ruled minimum 40 sheets per journals/marble notebooks (suggested purchase from Parent/Teacher Store) • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer (Shared) • 2 packages of wipes (Shared) • 3 large boxes of tissues (Shared) • Backpack (no wheels please) • Wallet for lunch/milk money • Lunchbox for lunch/snack (must fit in backpack)
