2nd Quarter HW #1 for both 8H and 8R due Friday 11/13
Current Events worksheet - Summarize and analyze an article on one of the
following topics: government, the economy, healthcare, unions, or a history-
related topic.
We will be having a class discussion about these articles on Friday so please
bring an article that you find interesting.
HW #2 - Study guide for chapter 18 test on 11/20. This worksheet was given
out in class.
HW #3 - Essay on immigration. Due on 12/1. This will be accepted late for
partial credit.
HW #4 - Chapter 19 vocabulary sentences - use each word from the packet in a
meaningful sentence.(18 total) Due Friday 12/4.
*** Quiz Monday (12/7) on Vocabulary from sections 1 and 2 (#1-#11)
HW #5 - due Friday 12/11 - Read chapter 19 sections 1 and 2. Do checkpoint
questions in both sections (6 questions total). Write in complete sentences
and restate the questions.
*8R - make up quiz on Friday for chapter 19 vocabulary
