There are 2 parts to this project.  This project is worth 20 points.

Part A: For each classification, you are to include the following information in a thinking map.

_____  Drug classification

_____  Names of drugs in this classification, include nicknames/ street names  

_____  What form(s) does this drug come in (examples: pill, liquid, powder, plant)?    

_____  Short- term effects  

_____  Long-term effects   

_____  How long does it take before the drug starts to work and how long do these effects last?   

_____  Extra information/ tidbits -ex.  Is/Has this drug ever been used for medical reasons? 

Part B: The research paper:

           An introduction paragraph: an overview of drugs.

            Body – 3 paragraphs: each paragraph specifically addresses 1 classification and uses all the information researched for the thinking map.

A conclusion paragraph.

 

Each paragraph is a minimum of 5 sentences. Capitalization , punctuation, and proper spelling is required.

Bonus Cover: Design a “My Anti- Drug T- Shirt”

You are to create a T-shirt design, either on paper. The shirt MUST read:

            MY ANTI DRUG IS…You then list, draw, etc various things you like to do that DO NOT involve drugs of any sort (No caffeine, No nicotine).

            For example “My Anti-drug is…Listening to music, running, going to the movies…”

The requirements are: must be colorful, attractive, have at least 3 things listed, and must STAND OUT!

            The more effort you show the better your grade will be.
