Related services may be recommended by the Committee on Special Education to
meet the specific needs of a student with a disability as set forth in a
student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Examples of related services include:
Speech/Language Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Physical Therapy
Vision Therapy
Counseling
Orientation and Mobility Training
Travel Training
A student with a disability may be provided with more than one related
service in accordance with the need of the student. Related services may be
provided in conjunction with a regular education program or with other
special education programs and services.
