I came to know West Sayville Christian School in 1998 when the three
oldest of my four children began attending. Ever since then, I have been
involved with the school in many different capacities. From playground duty
to Public Relations Committee to Board member, I've run the gamut as a
parent.
On the teaching side of the aisle, I've volunteered in the school library
class for six years with Kindergarten through sixth grades and worked as a
substitute teacher for the last four years before becoming the part time
computer lab teacher last year.
I graduated from St. John's University with a degree in business
management and worked on Wall Street for over seven years. When my husband
had his own business, I had the bookkeeping end of things. In between, my
husband and I raised four children; the youngest attends WSCS as an 8th
grader.
The Lord was gracious to begin to impact my life when I was in college
and soon after those years start my journey with Him. My family and I are
members of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Bohemia. I taught Sunday
School for two years and am currently the secretary of the Women's
Fellowship Group.
I am thankful I have this opportunity to serve and teach the students in
a strong academic and God honoring environment. I hope to impact the lives
of the students in a way that pleases the Lord doing something I really
enjoy.
The mission of the West Sayville Christian School Lab is to provide training
in keyboarding and software applications to enable the students to become
proficient and apply this experience in their future endeavors.
