Are you ready for this?
Step 1: Go to Mrs. Day's Teacher Web and read the introduction,
task and role.
Step 2: Get together with your partner and your assigned
scenario. Discuss your next step.
Step 3: Find a few mutual funds (using the role page to assist
you) to best fit your scenario.
Step 4: Use the calculator given on the roles page to test your
mutual funds to find the best one.
Step 5: Once you have decided on one mutual fund, you must
find out the history of the fund. Use the role page to help you
know what to find and where to find it including history (including
historical quotes), what is it comprised of, projected future, etc.
Step 6: Decide what you are going to use for your visual and
begin to create it.
Step 7: Prepare for your presentation -- both partners must
present (50/50). Remember, you are presenting to your
scenario audience. For example, Britney Spears or the plumber
and you must direct your presentation to getting them to go with
your recommendation.
Step 8: Run through your presentation -- make any necessary
changes
Step 9: Present to the class!!! Remember, some members of
your class and myself will be grading you.
