Now that this project is complete, you have gained a clearer
understanding of what a financial planner might do. Clients
come into the office and tell you something like the scenario
given in this webquest. It is then your responsibility to come up
with the best investment.
What did not happen in our scenario but what would happen in
real life, the financial planner throughout the time span that they
were in charge of the investment, would keep the client informed
of other choices. You have learned how to analyze one mutual
fund over another and come up with the best alternative. Lastly,
you gained some experience on how to sell it to the clients.
