Role 4 - Advertiser

Advertiser (a.k.a Neuromarketer)


Guiding Questions
What is the value of understanding how the brain works in advertising?  What 
techniques do advertisers use to sell their products?  How do these 
techniques work in terms of how the brain learns or responds?  What 
strategies for advertising are the most brain "friendly" or compatible?  How 
can understanding the brain make people better consumers?  What is a 
neuromarketer and is it ethical to be one?

Use the following web information to answer these questions.  Take notes in 
your own words to answer these questions.  When you can do this, you're 
probably ready to begin working with your group on the information packet.  
Remember your information packet must meet the guidelines set out by 
the "Amazing Brain" people.  Don't forget you'll need to help plan the info-
mercial, too.
