| Homework - Typically my homework is given in the area of spelling. I give
weekly homework using the new spelling list for the week. On Monday we take
the time to write in the assignments for the week. I also send home the
assignments for the whole week on Monday or the Friday prior. That way
students can get ahead if they know they are going to be busy on a given
night. I collect the entire spelling packet on Friday, but I do check
assignments on a daily basis just to make sure that no student is falling
behind on their assignments for the week.
Parents - Please help your child make sure their homework is in their backpack
everyday.
I do occasionally give a math assignment to my math students.
Please check your child's planner every day to see what assignments they need
to complete.
If a student falls behind in getting their homework done I will ask them to
come to school at 8:00 so that I may help them catch up. This is a good time
for me to work with students individually.
