For character education for the month of June, we will be working
on our responsibility to be well behaved in all areas of the school. We will
collect a marble in a jar any time that my class receives a compliment for
behaving well, or a compliment for being respectful, or any time a student in
my class is recognized for unselfishly performing an act of kindness. Once
our compliment jar is filled, we will have a special activity to celebrate
our success. Also, this is an integrated math lesson. Each of my students
will estimate the number of marbles it will take to fill the jar. This
should be fun.
