Second Graders will be given approximately 30 minutes of homework a night.
The subject areas include Math, Spelling, Writing and occasionally Science and
Social Studies (alternating).

Each student is also expected to complete an additional 20 minutes of
reading time. It is the parent's decision to chose to read with them, or
have them read independently. You know your child best, so you can be the
judge of what is most appropriate for your child.
Parents will also be responsible for signing the daily "agenda" in which
your student will write daily homework assignments and reminders.
