My name is Mrs. Minehardt-Quick and I am the 2nd grade teacher here at
Woestina School. (This is a photo of me when I was in second grade.)
I am a graduate of Schalmont. I also hold degrees in Associates of Applied
Science in Early Childhood, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and
have my Masters of Science in Education from the College of Saint Rose.I
have been recognized by Who's Who Among America's Teachers as well as
honored by Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women.
When I am not teaching, I am enjoying my time at home with my husband, and 4
children. I have a daughter in first grade, a daughter in kindergarten, and
17 month old boy/girl twins. They definitely keep me running!
My favorite saying: "They may not remember what I've said...but they'll
ALWAYS remember how I made
them feel".
The mission of our classroom is to work together for highest student
achievement by creating a safe, nurturing environment for each student to
reach his/her greatest potential.
A strong Character Education Program is embedded in our classroom curriculum
as it is carried out in each and every content area.
