My educational career has taken me to five schools and four different districts. I know some of you think it is because I can't hold a job, but the truth is I have finally reached the pinnacle in elementary education. The community and I are blessed with a fabulous school staffed by paradigm setting educators. Every single person who works or volunteers in our wonderful school is child-centered with the best interest of the children at heart. On the other hand, the Brookside staff is blessed with remarkable hard working students with supportive parents and guardians who send the children to school every day ready to learn.

At Brookside the children experience a rich curriculum which embodies the New York State standards while teaching to both the academic and social sides of children. Reading, writing, arithmetic, social studies, science, the arts, differentiated instruction, plus character education are daily happenings at our magnificent school.

Every day at Brookside Elementary School begins and ends with a smile. We strive hard to create an inviting, stress free (as much as possible), enjoyable, and academically rigorous environment. The Brookside experience is enhanced for students and staff because of the strong partnership between the school and community (PTA).
