About The Teacher

Mrs. Berman has been teaching in the Yorktown School District for four
years. Prior to this, she taught a 1-6 grade program in the Chappaqua School
District called "Learning to Look."

Mrs. Berman is happily married to Mr. Berman for almost 24 years. She is the
mother of two boys, Hunter and Skyler. Hunter is a junior
at Emory University and Skyler is a freshman at Emory University.

Mrs. Berman worked in finance for many years before deciding
to become a full-time teacher. She has a dual Masters Degree in Education
and is certified to teach Elementary Education grade 1-6 and Special
Education grades 1-6. She loves teaching and learning from her students.
Mrs. Berman is thrilled to be teaching K through 2nd grade students this year
as French Hill's Response to Intervention (RTI) specialist.

Mrs. Berman loves watching movies with her family (The Goonies by Steven
Speilberg is a favorite), reading, travelling, and going to art galleries
and museums.

Mission For The Class

To provide a safe, warm, loving, and academically stimulating environment
for all students. Every child is unique and special. My goal as an
educator is to instill a life-long love of learning in every child. In
working together as a team, parents and teacher, we can attain that goal.
