The French Hill Way To Treat Others is a a set of interpersonal expectations which foster positive and respectful behaviors. Monthly activities are used to implement and celebrate this initiative.

Bullying is when one child or group of children hurts or frightens another child through words or actions. Bullying is done on purpose and usually happens repeatedly (again and again). Bullying can happen anywhere: on a bus, at school, in your neighborhood.
Bullying includes
HITTING, KICKING, SHOVING, SPITTING
Teasing, name calling, making faces
Spreading rumors
Leaving others out of games
Making others feel unwelcome
How to Handle Bullying
Walk away
Be assertive – tell the bully to STOP!
Find a friend – stand together
Tell an adult, teacher, aide, parent
Rules against bullying
Do not bully others
Help students who are bullied
Include students who are left out
Tell an adult at school and an adult at home when someone is being bullied
