Need a little extra credit to get you into the holiday spirit?
The second quarter mid-point is approaching and that means that the “7th
grade transition” needs to transform into a 7th grade routine. Now that you
are really and truly a full-fledged 7th grader, what are your goals in
English in this quarter?
E-mail me and tell me your goals for English in this quarter. Your goals may
be grade related, but try to think beyond grades as well. Perhaps you want to
increase your study time or the time you spend reading? Maybe your goals
involve keeping your binder or locker more organized. Or is time management
your biggest challenge? Think about your writing, too. Perhaps you need to
make better word choices or maybe your sentences need more variety. Or maybe
it’s time to wipe out those run-on sentences once and for all!
E-mail me by midnight Thursday 12/3 for up to 3 extra credit points depending
on the the thoughtfulness of your response. Watch out for mechanical errors
in your e-mail. I am your English teacher, after all.
