About The Teacher
I am a NYS Licensed Teacher for grades K-12. I am also a career changer after 15+ years in Corporate Information Technology. I have been teaching Grades Pre K through 8th for 3 years. This is my first year in Mildred E. Strang Middle school. I live in Yorktown Heights, along with my husband and 3 children, -two are in the Yorktown Public Schools and my third is just not old enough....yet! I am thrilled to be teaching here and look forward to getting to know you all! It is my belief that everyone learns differently. Sometimes teaching a topic using visual tools such as a computer will help to get a point accross better. That is my goal and approach to teaching Computer classes in the Middle School.

Mission
1. To continue to have proper approach to using the computer- posture, keyboard etc. 2. To introduce or expand on a students knowledge of computers and computer terminology. (7th Grade) 3. To get through the basics of popular software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. (7th Grade) 4. To have fun with all the applications learned in 7th grade skills to do more advanced computer projects. (8th Grade) 5. To introduce any tools that will be useful and help enhance a students career as a student (including Inspiration). (any grade)
