Will my child receive services during an academic period?

No. Students are scheduled for services during skills/core period and/or 
specials (i.e. music,art,tech,etc).

Depending on your child's schedule services may be "pull out" or "push in"

How often will my child be evaluated to determine need for service?

All 8th grade students are evaluated in the beginning of the school year to 
measure progress and make recommendations for continuing service when 
transitioning to the High School.

Can speech language services be discontinued before the 8th grade?

Any student who has met their goals and demonstrated proficiency may be 
dismissed during the school year.
