Happy November! I can't believe we're into November already! This promises to
be a very busy month. Please look for our 1st FAMILY PROJECT to come home
with your child. This will be the first of 2 family activities for this
month. You should be receiving this on November 2 with a return date of Nov.9.
Also, your child's READING VEST is coming home with directions for the month
of November as well. Call me if you have any questions about any of this.
Parent/Teacher Conferences begin this month and go into the beginning of
December. Reminders have been sent out for Nov.3rd and 13th. If your
conference date is for the 19th or Dec 2nd, you will be receiving your
confirmation reminder about 2 weeks before. Please return it to me confirming
the date and time. I'm excited to meet with you to talk about your child's
progress and review our goals for the year.
Our trip to Hilltop Hanover Farm was delightful. Nothing beats a beautiful
fall day on a farm and we got to know that first hand! I hope your child has
shared the day's activities with you. Please be sure to take a look at the
pictures posted on this webpage. We had a great day!
**Now that the colder weather has arrived we are encouraging the children to
zip/snap/button on their own. Also, that 'inside-out' sleeve thing....we're
working on that too! Please practice at home as much as possible. Be patient
and it will come,I promise!
Also, please be sure to label all outerwear as well.
**Please continue to reinforce letter FORMATION and letter SOUNDS. We are
moving very quickly with this and reinforcement at home is so, so important.
Please emphasize using the correct letter formation in his/her name and other
words when writing.

Our Halloween party was wonderful thanks to our Class Mothers. We really
appreciate their efforts and enthusiasm that day.
