Homework is sent home three times per week. Our homework is an extension of what is learned in school and is meant to be a practice and reinforcement of those skills learned. Homework may consist of either handwriting practice (letters and numbers), rereading Guided Reading books sent home, a writing exercise, a math game or skills sheet, or phonics exercise. Please make sure your child's name is on his/her homework, that homework is completed in pencil, and that it is returned to school the next day. Homework will not begin to go home until after our Parent Orientation night.
