Welcome to
Mohansic
Elementary School
where our motto is “Mohansic…
A Special Place”.
We are a kindergarten through second grade school that is all about the young
child. Everything that takes place at Mohansic is done with the goal of
giving children developmentally appropriate experiences that enhance their
intellectual, academic, social and emotional growth. We offer rich
experiences that help to develop a child’s positive sense of self, confidence
and decision making abilities. We recognize and foster individual talents,
strengths, and abilities in ways that support each child and extend his/her
learning.
In addition to the approximately 400 students
in our school, Mohansic has an incredible faculty and staff. Our
professionals are knowledgeable, talented, caring and nurturing. All are
dedicated to ensuring a quality early elementary education for each student.
Our partnership with the parent community
continues to remain strong and our PTA continues to be a very important part
of all aspects of Mohansic. With their ongoing support and participation, our
school greatly benefits.
