About The Counselors

This is Mrs. McLaughlin's fifth year at Marlboro High School.  She has been 
a school counselor for fourteen years.  She worked at Newburgh Free Academy 
for six years, Beacon High School for two years, and Orange-Ulster BOCES for 
one year.  She has a Masters degree in Counseling & Development from Long 
Island University - C.W. Post, a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Psychology 
from SUNY Oneonta, and 30 additional graduate credits from various colleges 
and universities.

Mission Of The Department

Mrs. McLaughlin is available to meet with students to discuss academic 
issues as well as personal issues.  Please stop in to make an appointment to 
meet with her if you have anything you would like to discuss or just to 
say "hi".  Appointments will be scheduled during your study hall or lunch 
period.  My goal is to get to know each of my students. I want to help them 
get through high school doing the best they can to prepare them for the 
future that awaits them.
