The following is a small sampling of links that are accessed frequently in 
the STW program.  Helpful tips and techniques, laws and regulations (both 
federal and state level) and resources are available to assist employees and 
employers.

Wide range of health & safety topics.  Everything you need to 
know about being safe at work including laws and regulations 
currently in place.  Also includes a link for various resources 
and publications to be used by individuals and employers.

Child Labor Fact Sheets.  Includes sections for Students, 
Parents, Educators & Employers with information about child labor 
laws, safety at work and prohibited occupations.

The place to explore careers related to your strengths, skills 
and talents. You can click on one of the six clusters at the top 
of the page or View All careers to see all occupations.  
Career Zone

For hundreds of different types of jobs—such as teacher, lawyer, 
and nurse—the Occupational Outlook Handbook will provide you with 
information on: the training and education needed; earnings; 
expected job prospects; what workers do on the job; working 
conditions.

In addition, the Handbook gives you job search tips, links to 
information about the job market in each State, and more.

Excellent site for developing a personal portfolio, creating a 
resume, posting your resume, and job searches.  Site is also 
accessed by many companies who are seeking employees.
