Homework

Homework in Reading Classes does not happen very often. The reasoning for 
this is that the workload in the other core classes provides ample reading 
opportunities. When the students are doing homework in Math class for 
example, they are indeed reading. The hope is that the strategies used in 
reading class to help comprehension are being carried over into the other 
subject areas and guiding comprehension in them as well.
