Reading at the Middle School level is all about comprehension. The
saying,"In elementary education the students are learning to read, but at
the middle school level the students are reading to learn" goes a long way
toward explaining the progress of the thinking process involved in reading.
We work continuously on applying the strategies that good readers use to
better understand the materials they read.
Each student will learn and apply the strategies good readers use to improve
their individual reading skills.
