Who has access to the Sandy Creek network?

Only current students and staff have access to the network.  Any guests or 
visitors to the school must register with the administration and technology 
staff to gain access to the network.

Does the Sandy Creek network filter internet access?

Yes- according to the Childrens Internet Protection Act, the staff at Sandy 
Creek constantly monitor access and filter inappropriate web sites and 
electronic information being sent and received at SCCS.  If you feel that 
your child or any other students at SCCS are accessing inappropriate web

What technology is offered at SCCS?

All classrooms are equipped with a minimum of five interent accessible 
computers, a printer and many have LCD projectors.  We also have four large 
group instruction rooms with multiple computers and a distance learning 
facility.

How is technology integrated at SCCS?

According to the CDEP plan at SCCS we vigorously incorporate technology into 
almost every subject area.  Students begin taking basic computer 
introduction courses beginning in elementary school and continuing through 
their senior year.  Teachers and administrators use a variety of electronic 
databases to grade and track student progress in a variety of subject and 
skill areas.
