Each school is in need of volunteers to help stuff the folders that go home with the students on
the first day of school. We will be stuffing folders starting next Monday August 25th; any
amount of time will be appreciated. This is a great way for older students to get any volunteer
hours they may need. If you are able to help please call Debbie Scarano at 463-1903.
The Vassar Road Newcomers' Picnic will be held Wednesday August 27th from 11-1; please let
anyone you know who will be new to the school about this fun and informative event. The
kindergarten teachers will be there to show off their classrooms; they ask that you don't ask
them specific questions about your child at this time. So bring a bag lunch and a picnic
blanket and have your child meet new friends, play on the playground and play some games.
Also if you no longer have a child at Vassar or Kinry and are receiving this email please be
patient with us; we will be updating our email list by mid October.
