I have recently traded careers in corporate banking and business ownership
for teaching. This is my 6th year at WJH and I have recently received a
master's degree in Special Education. I live in Pawling with my family.

My first goal is to provide a safe class environment that is based on
mutual respect for each other’s ideas and opinions. We will stress
cooperative group learning over competition. Each student will be
encouraged to work to his/her potential, whatever level that may be.
I will try to provide a variety of ways to present and reinforce
the social studies curriculum because each student has a different
learning style.
We have a lot of American history to cover this year! I hope to make it as
informative and “fun” as possible while providing students with
knowledge and skills they will need to help become successful
students and responsible citizens.
