A Message From Mrs. Lewis

Hello All Saints Community!

I am excited to begin a new year! This will be my 20th year working with
students, staff, and parents in a school library. My life's work is
literature, reading and technology! I am eager to begin another engaging
year with our students. I love teaching reference skills and fostering
information literacy in all content areas. Partnering this with a great
love of literature translates into students who reflect 21st century
strategies to learn. Using library instruction aligned to the Archdiocese
Academic Curriculum and ODE enables our students to learn and
become proficient in the areas of Information Literacy, Technology
Literacy and Media Literacy. I love offering students, teachers and the
All Saints Community links to the very best literature and media services
both on the Web and here at school to support learning. Additionally, my
love of reading translates into other teaching opportunities for our
students. I am certified in reading intervention and an am grateful that
All Saints provided my training in Orton Gillingham. Feel free to contact
me anytime during the school year and summer months with your reading
questions. Please stay tuned to updates about the general happenings here
in the school library and the standards based instruction that happens for
all grades. I welcome you to visit, become a regular patron and contact
me with any questions about All Saints Library.
