Camping Supply List

We have limited room in the cars going to camp, so children should not
overpack. Soft suitcases and duffel bags are easier to pack into
vehicles and cause less potential damage to tents. I discourage
bringing personal snacks and treats, there will be plenty of food and
beverages provided for everyone.  The following list is recommended;
use you best judgement in helping your child pack.
Tent - if you are bringing one. Make certain it is in good condition, and that your child can put it up, take it down, and fold it. A tarp or ground cloth is recommended, especially if rain is in the forecast.
Sleeping bag or blankets. if the forecast is for chilly weather, most sleeping bags could use an extra blanket.
     Pillow
Plastic or metal bowl (for cereal), plate, and cup. Label each clearly with your child's name or initials. Please do not send breakable dishes or cups.
Knife, fork, and spoon. Label each with your child's name or initials.
     Swimsuit and towel.
Washcloth, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush.
Any personal medicine, sunscreen (waterproof is best)
Change of clothes. If the forecast is for rain, an extra set of clothes may come in handy.
Rainwear (if rain is in the forecast), jacket or heavy sweater for cool nights and mornings.
     Flashlight with fresh batteries.
Fishing gear in good shape (optional)
Books, cards, board games, drawing or writing material, stuffed animal, etc. No electronic games, radios, CDs etc.
Money for junk food , pedal boat rental, bait, etc.
     Wish us great weather!
